Hello!I’m Sophie, a professional artist based in Macclesfield, creating fine art pet portrait commissions, from your photos.
While I specialise in graphite pencil pet portraits, I also work in other traditional mediums such as acrylic, watercolour and pastel.
From people and pets to buildings, landscapes, and meaningful places, I’m open to a wide range of creative projects and will work closely with you to realise your ideas.

From graphite to full colour; there’s something for everyone.
My two greatest passions have always been art and animals - so getting to spend my days creating pet portraits feels like an absolute dream.
Dogs, cats, and every beloved creature in between: there's nothing I love more than capturing the personality of a pet in a portrait that their owner will treasure forever.
And while pet portraits are very much my speciality, I'm just as happy picking up my pencil or paintbrush for people, places, or whatever means the most to you.

I never want anyone to be priced out of commissioning art - so my portfolio covers a wide range of budgets, from Quick & Quirky pet portraits at £45 to A3 Acrylic Paintings from £850, with no hidden costs.
All prices are displayed on my website, and you'll always know the full cost before any commitment is made. My ready-to-order pet portraits have set prices, while my bespoke fine art portraits are individually priced.

*£45 is the standard online price for a Quick&Quirky pet portraits - discounts can be found if you find me at one of my market stalls!
